I fell in love with photography in high school. I was in a class that only had 35 mm film cameras, and I could not be more grateful. Starting in film taught me how to take photos, but also what the whole process of creating a photo was like.  I eventually got my own film camera and never looked back.

 

After high school, I kept taking film photos and kept loving it! Unfortunately, shooting in film is very expensive unless you have your own darkroom nowadays, so I slowed down just a bit. I noticed how I felt when I didn't have a creative outlet and couldn't take photos anymore. This is when I decided to invest in a digital camera of my own.

 

For those of you wondering, I have a Nikon D3400, I mainly use a 50mm 1.4 lense and I love it. I have slowly started to teach myself the in's and out's of digital photography (with a little film on the side... so don't worry!) And that leaves us with where I am today! 

 

I have just accomplished my first two weddings this summer and have done a ton of small shoots on the side! I am open to do anything, but my favorite types of shoots would be portrait, couple and "artsy" outside of the box type of stuff. I am so excited where this will take me and I hope you stick around along the way!
